Having a license means that you have passed a written test and been through an oral exam with a flight instructor. You will also need to have a PPG canopy that is in good condition and that meets the FAA’s minimum requirements. You will also need to have a good set of sunglasses and a full face helmet that protects your head from debris in the event of a crash.
When you are ready to fly, check the weather report and forecast before you launch. If there are đi du thuyền ở nha trang or if the sky is overcast, don’t try to go out. It’s also important to have a good preflight inspection of your paramotor and wing before you go flying. This will ensure that everything is in working order and will not be a danger to yourself or anyone else in the air or on the ground.
Before you launch, ask for permission to land on private property if necessary. If you are launching from a field, be sure that there are no horses in the area as they will be very freaked out by paramotors. Also, be sure to check that the field is free of hidden holes and power lines. You should also avoid launching over bird sanctuaries and other protected areas.
Many paramotors are very small and can fit in the back of a car. However, they are usually heavy and can be difficult to maneuver and secure. When transporting a paramotor, make sure that it is secured in a protective case to prevent damage and to keep it from spilling fuel or two-stroke oil on the carpet of your vehicle. If you don’t have a van, consider renting one for the day to transport your paramotor and canopy to and from your launch site.
If you want to cut down on costs, consider getting an electric motor. BlackHawk’s AMP is an electric paramotor that has an impressive 39.5 HP, but weighs only 80 lbs (engine only). It is the lightest and most efficient aviation-grade FUEL INJECTED 4-Stroke engine in this class and is FAR Part 103 compliant (No Pilot License Required for PPG Flight). With the AMP and a lightweight Velocity Elektra Paraglider, you can get up to 120 lbs of thrust for the ultimate power-to-weight ratio. The AMP is cheap to operate, has a long lifetime and requires minimal maintenance.
