The construction of a test involves many decisions that have profound implications for the interpretation of scores. A good test must accurately quantify differences between people and measure the underlying concepts that are being tested. This study investigated the multiple choice test construction competence of classroom teachers in Ghana using qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods. The quantitative evaluation used difficulty and discrimination indices. Test construction refers to the procedures employed in preparing a psychological BUS FPX 3007 Assessment 3 test. Various theories imply that the quality of a test largely depends on the competence of the person who constructs it. This is because a good test is one that can clearly distinguish those who have mastery of a particular subject area from those who have not. The procedure of test construction includes identifying the construct to be measured, choosing a method for assessing the construct (performance, behavioral observation, self-report), designing the item content, ensuring the validity and reliability of the test, preparing norms, and finally testing the test items.

This study sought to explore and describe teachers’ multiple-choice test construction competence in assessing students at the senior high school level in Ghana. To this end, a self-designed questionnaire was administered to the sample of teachers. The questionnaire was divided into two sections; Section A and Section B. Section A was designed to gather information on the teachers’ demographic characteristics while Section B was used to assess their BUS FPX3022 Assessment 3 multiple-choice test construction competence. Quantitative and qualitative item analysis were used to analyze the data collected from the teachers. Quantitative item analysis was conducted to obtain difficulty and discrimination indices for each of the teacher-made test items. Qualitative evaluation, on the other hand, involves examining the reasons for unacceptable indices obtained from quantitative item analysis.

Students will login to a current/popular topic of the week that may impact their practice. In a professionally prepared paper, they will summarize the rationale for choosing the topic and how it will impact practice in a positive and negative manner citing pros and cons. The paper will also include Training-Accounting Tools and Practices discussion of how informatics skills and knowledge were applied in the process relevance to developing the assignment and conclude with recommendations for future. This NR 512 week 5 HealthIT project must be a professional, scholarly prepared paper. See the guidelines for writing this type of paper located in the Course Resources. The paper will have an introduction, body of the paper to explain the topic, summary/conclusion and include at least three scholarly references.

You will also prepare a PowerPoint narrated presentation of your topic that includes at least 8-10 slides with at least three scholarly references. The slides should contain your narration and be MHA FPX 5006 Assessment 1  Best Practices Report  well organized. You should also include a speaker notes section that identifies your key points in case someone else has to give your presentation. Developing an effective framework is essential in establishing the student learning outcomes, interactive teaching strategies, and psychometrically-sound performance assessment for graduate nursing programs.
