Theta Lake has announced an integration with CrowdStrike Falcon Guardian to help enterprises investigate AI-related security incidents and coordinate responses across business departments. The AI security incident management integration connects CrowdStrike's AI Detection and Response (AIDR) intelligence with Theta Lake's AI interaction governance platform. Announced at Fal.Con Europe 2026, the collaboration also helps organizations manage AI content retention and meet legal and compliance requirements.

Connecting AI Security Detection With Enterprise Governance

As organizations increasingly deploy AI applications and autonomous agents, security incidents can affect more than traditional security operations. Businesses must also consider legal, human resources, compliance, and AI governance responsibilities.

The integration brings Falcon Guardian detections into Theta Lake's AI interaction governance capabilities. This connection allows organizations to investigate AI-related incidents and route cases to the appropriate teams.

Theta Lake builds on its existing integration with CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM. The expanded collaboration connects AI security intelligence with enterprise governance workflows, helping teams coordinate investigations through a centralized review environment.

Streamlining AI Incident Investigations

The integration introduces several capabilities designed to improve incident review and response.

Organizations can route incidents beyond security operations centers to legal, HR, AI governance, and compliance teams. The platform also maintains an audit trail of review activities and decisions, supporting accountability throughout investigations.

Investigators can combine Falcon Guardian and Falcon Next-Gen SIEM findings with AI interaction records from platforms such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, and Google Gemini.

This combined information creates chronological investigation timelines that help teams understand AI interactions and identify relevant activities. The review workspace can also summarize AI conversations, Guardian classifications, and agent tool calls to accelerate investigations.

Managing AI Content Retention and Compliance

The integration also helps organizations manage AI interaction records according to their legal and regulatory requirements.

Theta Lake enables selective retention policies based on the content source, interaction type, user identity, and security detection. These controls help organizations preserve relevant communications for compliance reviews and legal holds.

The platform also normalizes AI interactions across different applications and guardrail outputs. This approach gives investigators a consistent view of AI-generated content, regardless of the tools employees use.

By combining security detections with communication governance, organizations can maintain better visibility into AI activity and support more structured compliance processes.

Automating Enterprise Security Response Workflows

Theta Lake's existing integration with Charlotte Agentic SOAR extends the collaboration into automated response workflows.

Organizations can use these capabilities to automate actions such as creating and closing investigation cases. This approach helps teams coordinate incident handling and reduce repetitive administrative work.

Dan Nadir, Chief Product Officer at Theta Lake, explained that detecting AI risks represents only the first step. Organizations also need processes that direct incidents to the teams responsible for managing them.

The integration aims to connect AI security intelligence with the workflows required to investigate incidents, address compliance obligations, and manage enterprise-wide AI risks.

Integration Availability and Future Expansion

Theta Lake introduced the integration at Fal.Con Europe 2026 in Barcelona. The capability is currently available to select customers, with general availability expected to begin on November 7, 2026.

Organizations can learn more about the integration through the CrowdStrike Marketplace. Theta Lake also showcased its capabilities at Fal.Con Europe, held November 2–4, 2026.

Strengthening Enterprise AI Risk Management

The collaboration reflects the growing need to connect AI security detection with broader enterprise governance. As companies adopt AI assistants and autonomous agents, they must monitor interactions, investigate suspicious activities, and maintain records that support compliance.

By combining Falcon Guardian's AI security intelligence with Theta Lake's governance and review capabilities, the companies aim to help enterprises manage AI risks across security, legal, HR, and compliance functions.
