SonicWall Expands MSP Portfolio With Simplified Endpoint Security
Author : Mary Brown | Published On : 13 Aug 2026
Cybersecurity provider SonicWall expanded its managed service provider (MSP) product suite with the launch of a unified endpoint security platform engineered specifically for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). The scalable platform provides MSPs with flexible deployment choices, offering standalone Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools alongside a fully managed Managed Detection and Response (MDR) option.
The underlying architecture incorporates SonicWall's patented Real-Time Deep Memory Inspection (RTDMI™) technology to detect and stop complex memory-focused cyber threats instantaneously.
The product launch addresses critical security vulnerabilities impacting commercial businesses. Market research indicates that approximately one in three small businesses will encounter a cyberattack this year, while 60 percent of MSPs experiencing a security breach fail to fully recover operational standing.
Historically, cost-effective endpoint security options often sacrificed advanced threat detection capabilities to remain affordable for smaller organizations. SonicWall's new offering aims to eliminate this market trade-off by making enterprise-level security accessible within standard operational budgets.
Chandro Prasad, Chief Product Officer at SonicWall, emphasized that service providers should not be forced to balance enterprise protection against profit margin viability. He noted that the new endpoint protection suite delivers the same detection and response technologies that large enterprises rely on, housed in a platform designed for seamless deployment, intuitive management, and cost efficiency.
Advanced Threat Prevention Without Infrastructure Complexity
SonicWall Endpoint Security combines next-generation antivirus (NGAV) capabilities with automated incident response mechanisms in a single lightweight software agent managed through a centralized, multi-tenant administrative console.
For managed service partners seeking outsourced security operations, SonicWall provides full management through its 24/7 SonicSentry Security Operations Center (SOC). Specialized security analysts perform continuous threat hunting, proactive deployment management, and incident remediation, enabling partners to deliver round-the-clock defense without expanding internal staffing.
Johnny S. Casiano III, Director of Professional Services at Firewalls.com, stated that deployment during beta testing was seamless and management was highly intuitive. He added that the preconfigured policy templates allowed their team to deliver immediate value, leading the company to adopt the technology to protect its own internal operations alongside client environments.
Available through monthly or term subscription models, the new solution connects natively into the broader SonicWall Unified Management ecosystem alongside firewall and cloud security products. Consequently, service providers can consolidate threat visibility across endpoint, network, and cloud channels through a single administrative pane of glass.
