Drone mapping has revolutionized surveying, construction, agriculture, infrastructure inspection, mining, and GIS data collection by enabling high-resolution aerial imaging in a short time. Yet, getting sharp images is just half of the work done. The geolocation of each captured image is critical, as the accuracy of the orthomosaic, DEM, DSM, point clouds, and 3D models depends on it.
