RevSpring Acquires TrustCommerce to Expand Integrated Healthcare Payment Solutions

RevSpring has announced its acquisition of TrustCommerce, a provider of end-to-end integrated healthcare payment and security solutions, strengthening its position as a leading platform for healthcare payments and financial engagement. This move will help RevSpring simplify payment workflows, expand gateway connectivity, and deliver greater operational visibility across the entire revenue cycle for provider and payer organisations.

The deal builds on RevSpring’s Best in KLAS patient financial experience foundation by incorporating TrustCommerce’s enterprise gateway connectivity and extensive integrated payments footprint. Together, the combined company aims to reduce fragmented payment systems, improve reconciliation processes, and provide a unified payment platform that supports healthcare organisations from patient check-in through back-office reporting.

A key benefit of the acquisition is the enhanced flexibility offered to customers. Healthcare providers can maintain existing banking and merchant relationships while adopting a more cohesive, integrated payment infrastructure. This flexibility, often called “Bring-Your-Own-Merchant,” allows organisations to modernise without disrupting established financial partnerships.

Scott MacKenzie, CEO of RevSpring, emphasised that the acquisition expands the scale of its platform and improves integrated payments capabilities by reducing disconnected vendors and streamlining operational control. The acquisition also enhances RevSpring’s reach into electronic health record (EHR) integrated payment environments. TrustCommerce’s deep integrations with major EHR and practice management systems will support smoother onboarding, expanded routing flexibility, and improved product enhancement control for provider and payer customers.
