Quantum University Guide: Courses, Campus Life and How It Fits Your Search for the Best University i

Author : Quantum University | Published On : 13 Oct 2026

Short answer: Quantum University is a UGC-recognised private state university in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, offering programmes in engineering, management, pharmacy, health sciences, law, agriculture and computer applications. Whether it is the best university in India for you depends on your course, budget and goals, so use this guide to judge it against your own criteria.

Overview

Quantum University was set up in 2017 and sits on the Dehradun–Roorkee highway at Mandawar, Roorkee, in Haridwar district. It is reachable by road from Dehradun and Haridwar, and Roorkee has a railway station. Students from Uttarakhand and neighbouring states form a large part of its community.

Courses and schools

The university groups its programmes into schools covering technology, management, health sciences and pharmacy, law, agriculture and applied sciences. Course lists, seat numbers and specialisations change, so treat the official prospectus as the final word.

Campus life

Most students live in hostels or nearby paying-guest accommodation. Ask about room sharing, food, Wi-Fi, transport, medical support and safety rules. Visit in person if you can, and speak to current students about daily life, not only to admission staff.

Is Quantum University the best university in India?

No single institution holds that title for everyone. Quantum University is one credible option for students who want a multi-discipline campus in Uttarakhand, and the way to judge it is the same as for any other university: approvals, curriculum, faculty, outcomes and cost. Lists of the top university in India change with the framework used, so build your own comparison rather than depending on one ranking.

Questions to ask before applying

  • Which approvals apply to my specific programme?

  • What were the median salary and recruiters for my course last year?

  • What is the total fee for the full programme, including hostel?

  • Which scholarships are available, and what are the conditions?

  • What internships or industry projects are built into the course?

Conclusion

Choosing the Best University in India is a personal decision backed by evidence. Quantum University deserves a fair look if it offers your programme, but verify every claim, compare it with at least two other universities, and apply only after you have the facts in writing.
