Your instructor training is led by PADI Course Director Holly Macleod, bringing more than 23 years of international diving industry experience. Holly has worked across renowned diving destinations including Honduras, Thailand, Australia, the UK, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Singapore. She has issued approximately 3,500 PADI Instructor certifications in the Gili Islands alone and has proudly maintained Platinum PADI status for 13 consecutive years.
Training is conducted at Blue Marlin Dive, a long-established dive center with more than 30 years of experience. As the first PADI Dive Center and PADI IDC Center established in Gili Trawangan, the center provides an experienced and professional environment for aspiring instructors.
This IDC is designed to offer more than the standard PADI curriculum. Drawing on decades of real-world experience, Holly incorporates practical teaching strategies, problem-solving techniques, and industry insights that prepare candidates for the challenges they may encounter as working dive professionals.
