Overseas Technical Support in Thailand in Nov 2025

From November 12th to 16th, a specialized team from Guangzhou Prima Technology, led by Sales representative Chan and Service Manager Jim, successfully completed a comprehensive technical support and training mission in Bangkok, Thailand. This pivotal trip—our third on-site service support with our exclusive distributor, FCST—focused on advanced technical training, joint customer consultations, and the successful implementation of new automation solutions.
Mission Focus: Solving Complex Challenges and Driving Efficiency
The four-day mission achieved its core objectives across diverse industrial environments:
Advanced Laser Marking Problem-Solving
The team visited a major PVC pipe manufacturer operating over 20 production lines. The client, currently using Domino CIJ printers, sought to significantly reduce maintenance and high consumables costs by transitioning to our IPS-LF50W MG Fiber Laser Marking Machine.
The Technical Challenge:
The customer required a single printer to simultaneously mark two adjacent production lines. The issue was that variations in line speed and surface temperature between the two lines would compromise mark quality if only one encoder was used.
PRIMA’s Dual-Encoder Solution:
Jim implemented our system's advanced capability for double encoder support. By utilizing two encoders and two distinct groups of marking parameters, the system dynamically adjusts the laser output for each line independently, guaranteeing consistent, high-quality mark permanence across both products. This innovative solution delivers substantial cost savings for the customer.
2. Specialized Ink Solutions and Traceability
The team consulted with a pet food client facing a critical coding challenge. Pet food packaging requires ink with high adhesion to non-porous films and must resist degradation during the harsh retort sterilization process (high heat and pressure). We successfully validated and implemented our pet food exclusive ink, which ensures code integrity and full product traceability throughout the product lifecycle.
3. Automation Machine Installation
The team executed the installation and provided operational training for a new Pallet Dispenser at a daily chemical factory. This specialized piece of equipment is critical for end-of-line automation, ensuring a seamless, continuous flow of empty pallets into the palletizing cell. Its implementation significantly reduces manual handling and optimizes overall production flow.
4. Comprehensive Training and Technology Transfer
Throughout the trip, the team conducted focused training sessions at the FCST service center on key products, including the PRIMA-B600 Plus Continuous Inkjet Printer and advanced Laser Marking principles. The mission concluded with a technical consultation with a toothbrush customer using our specialized CO2 laser marking machine ( with 9.2μm wavelength), further deepening their understanding of advanced laser applications.
