Outreach Joins Salesforce AgentExchange to Power Connected Revenue AI

Outreach, an agentic AI platform built for revenue teams, has announced that it is joining Salesforce's AgentExchange ecosystem, marking a major step in bringing its revenue orchestration platform directly into the tools sales teams already rely on every day. The move positions Outreach as one of the first companies to make its offering available for private, transactable listings within the marketplace, giving joint customers a faster and more streamlined way to deploy AI across their revenue operations.

Closing the Gap Between Insight and Action

As AI adoption grows across sales organizations, many teams still face a common obstacle: valuable data sits inside CRM systems, while the actual work of closing deals happens across a patchwork of disconnected tools. Outreach's move into AgentExchange is designed to close that gap by giving revenue teams AI agents that don't just surface insights, but actively carry work forward — updating records, advancing deals, and coordinating actions across prospecting, deal management, and forecasting.

Salesforce leadership welcomed the addition. Brian Landsman, CEO of AgentExchange and EVP of Global Partnerships at Salesforce, noted that the new marketplace gives partners like Outreach broader access to Salesforce's customer base along with tools to scale distribution more effectively, and said the companies are looking forward to helping businesses automate revenue workflows using AI.

A "Headless" Approach to Revenue AI

A key part of this partnership is Salesforce's Headless Toolkit — an open architecture that lets partners build solutions deployable across whatever interface a team already works in, including Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Teams, and Slack. This means Outreach's AI agents can operate with consistent Salesforce context, security, and governance no matter where a rep happens to be working, rather than forcing users back into a single dedicated app.

Outreach leans on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an emerging standard that lets AI systems share context and coordinate actions across different workflows and platforms. By combining this with Salesforce's data as a single source of truth, the partnership aims to let AI agents move beyond simple analysis and into direct execution of revenue-related tasks.

What It Means for Joint Customers

For organizations that already use both platforms, the partnership promises several practical benefits:

  • Easier deployment with enterprise-grade security and centralized governance

  • Direct access to Outreach's AI agents from within familiar Salesforce interfaces

  • Reduced context-switching, since reps can research accounts, update deals, and personalize outreach without leaving their existing workflow

  • Access to richer, combined context drawn from both Salesforce and Outreach's data

Outreach CEO Abhijit Mitra framed the shift as a move away from AI that simply generates observations, toward AI that actively pushes deals and processes forward — helping teams act more consistently and respond faster to changes in their pipeline.

Looking Ahead

Salesforce and Outreach both describe this as a long-term investment rather than a one-off integration. Future plans reportedly include expanded agent-to-agent workflows and deeper data sharing between Salesforce Data Cloud and Outreach's unified data platform, opening the door to more advanced, automated revenue orchestration use cases over time.

With nearly 14,000 vetted apps, agents, tools, and integrations already available through AgentExchange, Outreach's addition strengthens Salesforce's positioning as a central hub for agentic AI in sales — while giving Outreach a broader distribution channel to reach enterprise revenue teams already standardized on Salesforce.
