Naruto Senki is a fan-made 2D fighting game inspired by the Naruto anime universe, and version 2.1.8 is the build most players are installing today. Because it is a fan project, it is not listed on the Google Play Store — Android users install it as an APK file. This guide walks you through downloading and installing it safely, plus a few beginner tips to get you started.

How to download and install safely

  1. Choose a trustworthy source. Random mirror sites sometimes bundle modified or ad-laden files. Use a well-documented community guide that lists the version number, file size, and changelog.
  2. Verify the file. Confirm the version (v2.1.8) and file size match the listing before installing. Scan it with a mobile security app if you can.
  3. Allow unknown sources. In Android Settings, grant your browser or file manager permission to install unknown apps, then switch the permission back off after installing.
  4. Install and launch. Open the APK, tap Install, and grant storage permission on first run so the game can load its assets.
  5. Troubleshooting. Most launch crashes come from incomplete downloads or low storage — re-downloading the file usually fixes them.

What is new in v2.1.8

The latest build includes balance adjustments for several characters, fixes for community-reported bugs, and smoother performance on mid-range devices.

Beginner tips

  • Practice one character’s combo strings in training mode before jumping into real fights.
  • Watch your chakra meter — special moves fired on an empty meter are wasted.
  • Experiment with team compositions to cover each character’s weaknesses.

Staying safe

Only download APK files from sources you trust, back up your save data, and avoid any download page that asks for payment or unusual permissions — the fan game itself is free.
