How The Protégé Project Works 

📍 1-on-1 Mentorship: 
 Each participant is matched with a trained, background-checked male mentor who meets with them regularly to build a strong, trusting relationship. 

🤝 Group Mentorship Sessions: 
 We host weekly gatherings focused on topics like emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, financial literacy, academic accountability, and goal-setting. 

📚 Life Skills & Leadership Workshops: 
 Our boys learn practical skills—from resume writing and etiquette to teamwork and communication—that prepare them for future success. 

🎒 School Support & Check-ins: 
 Mentors coordinate with families and schools to help protégés stay on track academically and behaviorally. 

🌍 Community Engagement & Events: 
 From college tours and museum visits to career day panels and volunteer outings, we expose our boys to what’s possible beyond their neighborhoods.

• Boys ages 6–18 in Washington, DC (all are welcomed)
