Mr. Rajesh Laddha brings more than four decades of experience in building businesses, creating long-term value, and identifying opportunities across diverse sectors. Throughout his career, he has worked with some of India’s leading business organisations, gaining valuable insights into business growth, navigating challenges, and creating long-term value.

A Journey Built on Experience

Mr. Laddha spent more than 25 years with the Piramal Group, where he served as Group CFO and Executive Director until 2022. During his time there, he worked across a wide range of businesses, from financial services and real estate (such as FS & RE) to pharmaceuticals and data analytics. He specialised in value creation, growth strategy, and M&A

He also served as the MD & CEO of Shriram Capital, the flagship company of the Shriram Group, from 2017 to 2019, where he worked across the Group’s financial services and insurance businesses.

Before his time at Piramal Group, Mr. Laddha was part of the founding team of Coca-Cola India.

Experience Across Real Estate

Real estate has been an important part of Mr. Laddha’s career. During his time with Piramal Group, he helped develop more than 15 million square feet of real estate in Mumbai across several major projects.

He also oversaw Piramal’s real estate lending business for more than a decade, gaining extensive experience in financing real estate projects and working closely with developers. This experience gave him a strong understanding of the sector, from project development and financing to evaluating opportunities and managing risk.

Experience Across Investments

Alongside his real estate experience, Mr. Laddha has been involved in several large corporate transactions and investment opportunities throughout his career, with transactions having an aggregate value of more than USD 15 billion.

His experience across investments has shaped a disciplined approach to evaluating opportunities: understanding the business, studying the fundamentals carefully, assessing risks, and focusing on long-term value creation.

Strong Financial and Academic Foundation

Mr. Laddha’s professional experience is supported by Marquee academic qualifications. He is a rank-holder Chartered Accountant (ICAI), rank-holder CPA (USA), and CIMA (UK). He also holds an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.

His combination of financial knowledge and practical business experience has played an important role in shaping his approach to investments and business decisions.

In 2022, Mr. Laddha founded RSPN Ventures with the aim of creating an independent investment firm focused on financial markets, real estate funding, and real estate development in Mumbai, India.

RSPN brings together his years of experience in investing, finance, real estate, and business leadership. The firm looks for opportunities where careful research, strong industry understanding, and disciplined decision-making can create meaningful long-term value.
