According to the regulator's statement, quoted by industry media, violations and failure to meet compliance obligations raised investor protection concerns. A previous suspension had been in place before the final revocation was announced.

Circulating reports indicate that the decision to revoke the license was actually made at a regulatory meeting held in December 2025.

Before its license was revoked, Conotoxia Ltd was already under suspension. This suspension period gave the company the opportunity to make improvements and re-comply with regulatory requirements.
