Unlike other Korean ginseng products, this contains ginseng extract not ginseng water so it’s much more concentrated. Ginsenosides from panax ginseng have some preliminary research showing that they can help inhibit collagen breakdown in the skin and also aid in new collagen and hyaluronic acid synthesis. Another small study suggests that ginsenosides influence growth factors in the skin. I love that Proot has added peptides and growth factors to their serum alongside the ginseng.
This serum is also packed with anti-inflammatory ingredients from ginseng to centella asiatica, niacinamide, green tea, and chamomile. Many of these extracts also have antioxidant properties. And then we have great hydrating ingredients like glycerin, peptides, polyutamic acid, hyaluronic acid and more.
