Paying for trade school shouldn't stop you from starting a skilled trades career. This guide from Philadelphia Technician Training Institute (PTTI) explains how to fund automation and manufacturing training in Philadelphia using Pennsylvania grants and financial aid in 2026. In simple, student-friendly language, it walks through FAFSA for trade school, the PA State Grant Program through PHEAA, WIOA funding available at PA CareerLink offices, WEDnetPA employer-sponsored training, and PA Targeted Industry Programs, plus how these sources can be layered to reduce out-of-pocket tuition.
