What is Hastelloy C276?

Hastelloy C276 (UNS N10276 / W.Nr. 2.4819) is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy with the addition of tungsten, specifically engineered to provide outstanding resistance to a wide range of corrosive media. It performs exceptionally well in both oxidizing and reducing environments and offers excellent protection against pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking.
