We couldn't be happier that he spent his early childhood here. The management were always responsive to anything we needed. The educators were kind and caring and helped us with everything our son needed. Our daughter loves her days at The Hive - particularly the singing and dancing!
To be eligible for the child care subsidy, your child must attend Brighton Beach ELC or Brighton ELC, be aged 6 months to 6 years, meet residency and immunisation requirements. As a team, we value diversity, inclusion and individuality. We strive to maintain strong, respectful and meaningful relationships with families and the community. We wish to ensure that each family feels a sense of belonging and inclusion and to have their voices clear and apparent throughout the Brighton Beach ELC community. We embrace diversity in all of its forms. We encourage children to make their child care brighton vic own decisions and will support them to be their most confident selves.

With a familiar smile at drop-off, our team is committed to building strong, trusting relationships with our families. The staff at Brighton ELC were very welcoming from the moment we started. They truly share themselves and their love with my boys making daycare an easy and safe place to be. We provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea daily. Meals are prepared with children’s health and hygiene in mind, and we work closely with families to support allergies and specific dietary requirements.
Its centre page does not mention a kindergarten program, so ask the centre about funded kinder hours. All educators hold current Working With Children Checks, are first aid certified, and complete regular child protection training. The centre has secure entry/exit systems, and we maintain educator-to-child ratios that meet or exceed national requirements. We're part of Guardian's Safety+ program with additional safety protocols. As school gets closer, you want your child to feel ready and excited, not rushed.

Outdoor play in our natural play spaces, afternoon tea, and creative projects. You'll get a photo update so you know how their day has been. The toddler years are full of energy, curiosity and the urge to do it themselves.

We have 4 childcare centres located in the Bayside area, please view our Bayside Campus page to see more. Sustainable practices are woven throughout the children’s daily routines and their daily experiences within the centre, and we are always looking for ways in which we can minimise our impact on the environment. We are very fortunate to have spaces within both centres where we can have vegetable gardens, compost areas, herb gardens, and areas for children to investigate different plants and natural materials. We strive to provide a supportive, safe, and stimulating learning environment that will foster solid foundations for every child’s lifelong success. The educators are super caring, facilities are world-class, kids receive fresh food and do a ton of different activities every day Inc lots of outdoor play which they love. Lots of positive changes from when we were there a couple of years ago, e.g. the carer ration appears to have increased.

The educators are warm, caring, and very creative — it’s clear they genuinely care about every child. We’ve seen our daughter grow in confidence and curiosity since starting, and we feel very lucky to be part of such a nurturing community. Every centre welcomes children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, Monday to Friday — opening hours for each centre are below. The centre is overseen by a parent committee who ensure that the centre continues to run efficiently and smoothly.
