From Average Student to Manager: What Changed?

The majority of the people who succeed in college and beyond were not initially academically successful.

A great number of these future successful professionals started out as average students (and like most of us). They went to school, they took classes, they passed their exams and learned to figure things out along the way.

What changed for these individuals?

The Change Begins with a Change in Your Thought Process-:

At a certain point in your life, you get a sense that "something's not right." Your general attitude changes and you start thinking differently.

An "Average Student" starts thinking differently about their marks. Instead of only studying to pass exams; they will begin to ask themselves questions like: "I wonder what I want to do?" "What type of career fits my interests and abilities?"

This first wave of new thinking is only the beginning of change.

Learning outside of school:

Another major change is that their method of learning has changed.

Instead of relying on written text, they now learn by watching the world, improving how they communicate with others, and learning how things operate in society.

They might not be fully developed yet, but they have developed an increased level of awareness and an increased amount of curiosity .

Taking consistent daily steps:

Growth doesn't happen in one day.

Growth comes from taking small, daily steps such as participating in classroom activities, participating in discussions, acquiring new skills, and maintaining consistent effort even if immediate results cannot be seen.

As time goes by and your consistent effort builds your self-confidence, your self-esteem will grow .

Determining Which Way To Go:

This is often when most students start seeking for more structure.

After finishing school, some of these people will seek an MBA degree - not only as a degree in itself, but because they wish to gain the hands-on experience of decision making and the real world workings of a corporation.

An MBA program usually gives them exposure to being a leader or playing on a team or solving real-world problems and allows them to develop more quickly.

The Influence of your Environment:

A lot of students do not think about their environment.

But if you have a quiet, focused environment it's much easier for your mind to clear itself, and there to be enough consistency to avoid distractions.

Because of this, so many students today are searching for their educational opportunity in developing cities, such as Ayodhya, which gives them the opportunity to develop themselves at their own pace and in an environment that supports that.

Final Thought:

Becoming from an average student to being a well qualified manager is not based only on achieving perfection.

It is about changing your mind, developing your will to act consistently, and determining which path to follow when there is the best opportunity to do so.

With a clear understanding of the right direction and your environment, every student will have the capability of having a strong, successful future.
