Deck of cards

Raise - To increase the amount of the current bet, you can raise it by betting a higher amount than the previous bettor. Raising puts pressure on other players to match the new bet or fold.

Pot - The last term in playing cards terminology is the pot. The pot is the total amount of chips or money wagered by players during a single hand or round of betting. After all others have folded, the pot gets awarded to the player with the strongest hand or the last player remaining.
