These experiences give children time outdoors, connection with the local environment and chances to practise confidence beyond the centre. Cire provides high-quality Melbourne kindergarten options across several locations to support local families. You can access sessional programs at Chirnside Park and Pakenham (Hollins Children’s Centre), or integrated programs at our Croydon, Lilydale, Mt Evelyn and Yarra Junction centres. Our highly skilled early learning educators are dedicated to your child’s safety and development. We demonstrate professionalism and care in all that we do, from planning to delivery. Our service offers a curriculum inspired by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), tailored to each age group.I strive to be open, honest, and approachable with both children childcare centres near pakenham and families, while making learning exciting, engaging, and tailored to build on each child’s strengths. When supporting families, I draw on my years of experience to clearly explain the benefits of early childhood education and care and how it complements learning at home. However, it is strongly recommended because it helps children develop the social, emotional and cognitive skills needed for school.
The program is based on the ‘forest preschool’ approach, originally established over 50 years ago in Scandinavia and now an international movement. Fresh, nourishing meals prepared daily by an in-house chef to help children grow strong, feel supported, and build healthy relationships with food. At Pakenham Springs Children’s Centre, we foster a love of learning through play-based experiences that encourage children to discover, create, improvise, and imagine. Our environment is safe, stimulating, and designed to promote creativity and curiosity.
We acknowledge the rich culture of our First Nations people and pay our respects to Elders past and present. In integrated settings, a “Free Kinder” subsidy is applied to your account, reducing your out-of-pocket costs for the Melbourne kindergarten program. G8 Education acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands we live, work and play on each day.
I bring many years of experience across a range of leadership roles within early learning. Since joining Great Beginnings Pakenham, I have worked as a Lead Educator, Educational Leader, Assistant Centre Manager, and now Centre Manager. Each role has given me the opportunity to develop new skills, explore different areas of the sector, and deepen my passion for ensuring children receive the best possible start to their education journey.
Although we offer both childcare and kindergarten in our centres, the two are different. We offer childcare for children aged from 6 weeks old for families who require care for their children. While we offer educational programs to younger children, our 3-year-old and 4-year-old Kindergarten programs offer a structured approach to the children’s education.
Our centre chefs prepare a nutritious menu for your child to sit down and eat. Educators model healthy eating practices, social behaviours and support children’s growing independence with mealtime routines. Thanks to the in-house chef at our Pakenham child care centre, your child can expect healthy, nutritious, and yummy meals. We offer a rotating seasonal menu, providing breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and a late snack freshly made daily. Our families provide feedback on our centre menu and we create the menu around their voices.
Through observation, research and provocations, children’s interest and learning are continuously expanded as they grow and change. Educators at FiRST Early Learning thrive on the empowerment of children and early education. Through our market-leading Individual Learning Plans and evidence-informed education programs, you can be sure your child receives the support they need to become a confident, resilient, and connected learner.
We use OWNA and KindyHub to share daily updates, observations, and photos directly with families. You’ll be able to see what your child has been learning, eating, and exploring, and message the team if you have any questions throughout the day. From its architecturally designed spaces to its thoughtfully crafted interiors, Eden Academy Pakenham is a boutique childcare and kindergarten on Army Road where beauty and purpose come together. Every room has been carefully considered, every detail designed to help children feel calm, curious and genuinely at home. Watching the children grow and learn is a privilege – and something I am fortunate to share with an excellent team of carers and educators, all of whom are experienced and qualified. Our schedules are always flexible, changing to meet the needs of the children on any given day.
I am proud to lead a nationally award-winning service (Goodstart Sustainability Award National Winner 2014). I have worked in the early learning sector for 23 years, the past 3 of which have been with Goodstart. Our in-house chef prepares breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack each day. The menu rotates regularly, includes input from families and caters for allergies, dietary requirements and cultural needs, including Halal and Kosher options.
