Centre Approves Rs 27,370 Crore Green Energy Corridor-3 for Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh has received a major boost to its power infrastructure with the Union government approving Green Energy Corridor-3, an electricity transmission project estimated to cost Rs 27,370 crore. The project aims to strengthen the state's transmission network, support renewable energy generation and improve electricity supply to industrial areas. With completion targeted for 2029-30, the initiative is expected to play an important role in Andhra Pradesh's long-term energy and industrial development plans.
