You will examine the business of retail pharmacy. You will learn about the management, security and operation of community pharmacies. You will study the basics of merchandising and marketing.

The Pharmacy Technician diploma program is designed to prepare you for a challenging career in a community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, long-term care pharmacy or a corporate/industrial environment. Courses in the Pharmacy Technician program include Pharmacy Calculations, Pharmacology, Pharmacy Compounding and Sterile Products and Aseptic Technique.
In ClassA course delivery mode where learning activity is scheduled and takes place in a classroom or similar setting at a college facility. Study to prepare compounds and sterile products, and to dispense medications. This full-time program includes two months in community and hospital practicum placements.
