Who is Eligible for Dental Implants?

Before I do dental implants on any patient, I check for three different criteria:

Healthy gums
Adequate amount of bone in the jaw
Good general health

If there is insufficient bone, I may recommend the patient to have a bone graft. This will provide the support necessary for the implant.
