If you’re planning on spending the summer in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, you may be overwhelmed by all of the activities available to you, but not to worry – we’ve rounded up the top 5 things to do in Myrtle Beach! From beautiful beaches and exciting theme parks to five-star restaurants and picturesque wineries, there are many ways to enjoy yourself here. Here are our top five picks of things to do in Myrtle Beach!

1) Go to an Alligator Farm

The Alligator Farm Zoological Park is located on Coastal Highway and it’s a perfect way to get your feet wet with an exciting experience. There are gators all over, including some that you can feed, but be sure to keep your hands out of their mouths! The park is open year-round so plan a vacation during a time when you can take advantage of it.

2) Grab lunch at Third Street Market

With twelve dining options at Third Street Market, you’re sure to find something that tastes great while you watch locals and tourists alike stroll along Ocean Boulevard. Spirit Airline check-in out offers and Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe? for a fresh take on Greek food. Order their gyro, which is made with lamb and beef and topped with tzatziki sauce. For a more casual bite, head to Ruby’s Bagels & Deli for lox bagels or breakfast burritos. And when it comes time for dessert, skip your usual stop at a candy shop or ice cream stand—the Cone Zone offers 50 flavors of freshly made soft-serve ice cream cones and sundae cups.

3) Ride Segway Tours

Looking for an amazing, unique experience? Check out a Segway tour! While these clever little scooters are far from new (they’ve been around since 2001), they’re still so fun and challenging that a lot of people haven’t tried them. The first time I went on one, it was like driving—it felt natural right away. They offer guided tours of several landmarks (Equal Justice Initiative), but you can also explore on your own or check out one of their scenic tours with stops at great photo spots. All of their vehicles have GPS tracking, so you don’t have to worry about getting lost—just enjoy being pampered by knowledgeable tour guides who love telling stories about Savannah.

4) Visit Ripley's Aquarium

Ripley's Aquarium of Myrtle Beach is one of only seven aquariums owned and operated by Ripley Entertainment Inc. With more than 150,000 aquatic animals, Ripley's Aquarium is sure to provide entertainment for all ages. Marine life at Ripley's Aquarium includes snow white sea jellies, golden African lungfish and majestic jellyfish. There are also interactive exhibits such as a touch tank where guests can feed sharks and stingrays! Guests can get up close with our animal ambassadors during live presentations on Thursdays through Sundays. Spend a day at the beach: and Book a flight with Spirit Airlines number phone and discover why Myrtle Beach was voted America’s Favorite Family Vacation Destination by Travel + Leisure readers!

5) See South Carolina's only drive-in movie theater

The Starlight Drive-In Theater is a beloved local attraction, located just east of Coastal Grand Mall. Showing first-run movies, as well as hosting special events, kids' birthday parties and more, there's always something going on at South Carolina's only drive-in theater. In addition to being a big draw for locals, it's also become known as a must see for out-of-towners who are looking for an affordable option when traveling through. Admission is $7 per carload on weeknights and $8 per carload on Friday and Saturday nights. If you're planning to go with a group of people or have multiple cars that need parking passes, be sure to save some money by purchasing tickets online beforehand.
